It is getting so hard to find organic or 100% grass fed meat in our grocery stores. I have tried to make a meal plan, then go shopping. Unfortunately, I need to see what’s available first, then make a plan. Today I found a whole organic chicken ($4.67/lb!), 3 100% grass fed ribeyes, and 100% grass fed ground beef (7% fat). I also found blocks of organic Monterey jack and Colby cheeses. It is very hard to find organic cheese also. I grabbed other items and spent $201.97. Sheesh. ( All food organic unless stated otherwise.)

Monday– Easy Baked Hamburgers (100% grass fed), Simple Romaine Salad

Tuesday– 100% grass fed Ribeyes, organic baked potatoes, organic green beans, wild caught Salmon (for me only- I don’t like Ribeyes!)

Wednesday– Old Bay Roasted Chicken, sauteed spinach with garlic, Riced Herb Cauliflower

Thursday– 100% grass fed Chuck Roast, organic carrots

Friday– Organic Homemade Pizza, Spinach Salad

Saturday– Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup Copy Cat, Spring mix salad

    Phytochemicals and inflamm-aging…

Lettuce with tightly bound leaves (iceberg heads) and the inner leaves have less concentration of phytochemicals. “The results demonstrated that outer leaves have the highest phytonutrient content and antioxidant properties.”
